This was TOC's first attempt at assembling songs together in one place. The band was still trying to develop a cohesive sound at this point. Some tracks are experimental freak outs (The Great Equalizer), some allow jazz backgrounds to seep through (Friends & Family), and some hint towards the direction the band would take for the future (Stephen). Recorded and captured on a Fostex VF-16 by the band themselves and manipulated in Garageband.
